#1, ranked on the WBC heavyweight contender Dalton Smith (18-0, 13 CO), uses its huge advantage of its size to get a wide 12-round unanimous solution against #14 IBF Fringe Mathieu Germain (26-3-1, 11 kos) on Saturday night at England.

Smith released German, 35, three times in the match, in Round 2, 11 and 12. He was punished for a low blow in the 11th round, after he was too much, trying to kill his smaller, lighter and more adversary. Germen was landing at times, but he lacked the strength and size to harm the much more black blacksmith.
The results were 117-107, 119-105 and 119-105.
Annoyance
Germain spent the greater part of the battle, moving around the ring, trying to avoid heavy shots from Dalton, who looked at two divisions greater inside the ring than him. Dalton looked like a junior middleweight battle in light weight. With this type of unfavorable position, Germain had no chance against him; Therefore, he remained on the move all the time, holding and disappointed Smith.
Towards the end of the match, Smithi was apparently annoyed in Matjo that he did not stand still so that he could land his large power shots to kill him. He tried to get the crowd to squeeze his opponent to be stationary, which was dumb.
Hearn’s strategy
The person with whom Smith must be angry is his promoter, Eddie HearnTo choose the Germain from near the rock bottom of the 140 -pound ranking on the spot # 14. It is not clear why Hearn coincides with Dalton against Germain, not one of the higher ranked five contenders who could give him a real test.
This is the magic question because Smith has not gained real experience in this match and has definitely not prepared him to challenge the WBC Light champion Alberto Puello, which is much better than that person. He could compare Smith against Gary Antuan Russell or Subile Matthias instead of Germain to prepare him for his title shot. This would obviously be risky because these guys have a power that would cause problems with Smith.
Smith is too big to fight for the IBF 140-Funt title against Richardson Hitchins, because there is a rule of rehydration of 10 pounds, from which he will have to follow. There is no chance of Smith to make a secondary weight check without draining it until it will be an easy sign of Hitchins.
